Breaking! Three New Cruel Earth Albums in 2022 and Original Music Weekly in 2023!

In a move that has shocked the recording industry, The Cruel Earth announced plans to release three more albums in 2022 and a new single each week throughout 2023!

  • Coming October 2022: Transits Ambient music with an eternal soul
  • Coming November 2022: The Fuzz That Never Was! Distortion-drenched instrumentals for children of all ages
  • Coming December 2022: Fuzzy Transits For Fucking Tweens Sonic soundscapes meet monstrous fuzz tones

The Cruel Earth upended the music industry in September 2022, completing a massive 118-track song cycle called Elements based on the Period Table of Elements. While many industry insiders predicted the band would go on hiatus after the two-year-long musical quest, The Cruel Earth surprised critics and fans alike by announcing new music will continue to emerge throughout 2023.

“On midnight, January 1, 2023, and continuing each Saturday night for the rest of 2023, The Cruel Earth will release a new single,” the band announced. “The track released on New Year’s Day 2023 is called ‘Dylan’s Song,’ and it’s a story song about the American heartland in the vein of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Waits, and, of course, Bob Dylan.”

The Cruel Earth’s final albums for 2022 — Transits, The Fuzz That Never Was, and Fuzzy Transits For Fucking Tweens — will be entirely instrumental.

“You won’t hear coherent vocals from The Cruel Earth again until 2023,” the band said. “Even then, it’s uncertain. Coherency is never guaranteed. Regardless, we hope adventurous audiophiles and discerning listeners will continue to follow us on our musical journey.”
